The Community for Family program, together with partners, provides the humanitarian rear, accepts and creates long-term shelters in five western regions of Ukraine for internally displaced persons, mainly mothers and children.

How does the program work now?

Collaborating with the local government authorities to arrange housing for mothers with children who are being evacuated from occupied territories and those where active hostilities are taking place

With funding from UNICEF, creating 15 informal educational centers for children in communities with a large number of internally displaced families

Creating long-term living spaces for mothers with children

Together with S.O.S. Children's Villages Ukraine, a project of the emergency program of S.O.S. Children, providing humanitarian and psychological support to internally displaced persons in 5 oblasts - Lviv, Chernivtsi, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil and Zakarpattia

With UNICEF support, monitoring the observance of children's rights in communities and at international checkpoints

Created a safe family space near the Lviv Railway Station through partnership with HUB Station with support from S.O.S. Children’s Villages for mothers and children, as well as children's play areas at other Lviv transport stations

Partnering with Make me Smile International in a crowdfunding campaign to help mothers and children affected by the war
