«Creating Unity Through Concrete Decisions»: Ukrainian Educational Platform Attends the National Prayer Breakfast
On August 23, the National Prayer Breakfast was held in Kyiv, bringing together representatives of various churches, high-ranking Ukrainian officials, international partners, military personnel, chaplains, families of fallen Heroes, leaders of charitable organizations, and youth leaders.
The event opened with remarks from the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyy:
«Whatever differences exist between us, they do not matter when it comes to what is most important: truth, peace, and how prayer unites us all in difficult moments».
Marjana Kashchak, Director of the Ukrainian Educational Platform, attended the event. For the Ukrainian Education Platform, participating in such an event serves as another reminder that a nation of responsible people is built through daily work, decisions, and service by everyone in their place.
«For me, meetings like this serve as a powerful reminder of how crucial it is today not just to speak about unity, but to actively build it through concrete decisions, partnerships, service, and individual responsibility», – says Marjana.
The Ukrainian Education Platform works daily to strengthen psychosocial resilience, support communities, and aid in the recovery of the country.
«Being where we are needed means doing everything within our power: working, supporting, helping, and nurturing the future in which our children and coming generations will live—a future taking root through the storms of war and the challenges before us. And what lies beyond our strength, we can entrust to the Lord. It is truly valuable to be part of this meeting, to pray together, and to feel once again the strength of community».
