The Ukrainian Education Platform joined the conference «The Voice of the UGCC in the World»

The Ukrainian Education Platform also joined the conference «The Voice of the UGCC in the World», which brought together hierarchs of the UGCC, representatives of state authorities, educational institutions, and experts.

Participants discussed how the Church can form an authentic voice in the world in the context of war. Father and Head of the UGCC His Beatitude Sviatoslav emphasized the importance of deep formation, knowledge of one's own context, and responsible Christian witness.

Examples of the practical implementation of Christian diplomacy and social service were also presented. During the discussion of diplomacy based not on political interests but on faith, truth, and service, Tetiana Stavnych, director of Caritas Ukraine, highlighted an important idea:

The mission of Caritas is the diplomacy of practical love, which restores the human face and social cohesion. The importance of such diplomacy lies in being yourself and sharing this with others. Helping others creates a holistic restoration of personalities.

One example of social service is the project «Inclusive Café», a café-space for internships for teenagers with disabilities, which the Ukrainian Education Platform joined in supporting in 2025. Project participants find support in personal fulfillment, which fills them with a sense of dignity and importance.

Through effective initiatives, the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church embodies the mission of communicating our reality to the international community. Its activities set the course and provide important guidance for the work of all structures operating not only in Ukraine but also beyond its borders, concluded Mariana Kashchak.
