Today, many people are dealing with loss, anxiety, and uncertainty. At times like these, it’s important to know that you’re not alone. There’s a place nearby where you can be heard and supported. That’s exactly why Resilience Centers operate in communities.
Women, children, adolescents, older adults, people with disabilities, and internally displaced persons can receive support here. The centers provide comprehensive assistance-ranging from initial consultations to support in difficult life situations.
As part of the «Chervona Kalyna» project, five such support centers are operating in the Petrykivka community (Dnipropetrovsk oblast):
Resilience Center, Loboykivka village – 86-b Tsentralna St.
Youth Space, Yelyzavetivka village – 9 Tsentralna Square
Shulhivka Village Council, Shulhivka village – 102 Tsentralna St.
Youth Space, Chaplynka village – 1 Druzhby St. (House of Culture)
Kurylivka Village Council, Kurylivka village – 58 Tsentralna St.
In addition, Resilience Centers are operating in Mykolaiv, Dnipro, and Kryvyi Rih, providing psychosocial support to communities.
A multidisciplinary team works with you at these centers:
social worker – helps identify needs and provides ongoing support
psychologist – provides emotional support and helps you cope with your experiences
speech therapist – works on speech and development
lawyer – advises on rights and available options
family mediation specialist – helps resolve family conflicts and improve communication
center coordinator – ensures the team works effectively
All services are free, confidential, and tailored to people’s actual needs.
Visitors to the centers share their experiences:
«I am very grateful to the psychologist for their understanding and support. It really helped me make sense of my feelings».
«We are very grateful for the help our child received-both from the speech therapist and the psychologist. Our child has started speaking better and has become calmer and more confident».
«After reaching out to the center, I felt a sense of relief. It’s so important to have a place where people really listen to you and don’t leave you alone with your problems».
In frontline regions, access to quality psychosocial support is critically important. These centers create a safe space to restore inner balance, receive support, and find resources for moving forward.

The «Chervona Kalyna» project is implemented by the Ukrainian Education Platform in cooperation with Condivisione fra i Popoli (CfP), Medici per i Diritti Umani (MEDU), NGO «Globa22», the charitable foundation «Peaceful Sky of Kharkiv», and NGO «Youth of Ukraine», with financial support from the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation.
