Joining Eurochild marks an important milestone for the organization, opening new opportunities for international cooperation, knowledge exchange, learning, and the implementation of best European practices in child protection and family support.
Every day, the Ukrainian Education Platform works with children and families facing difficult life circumstances caused by war, displacement, loss of housing, and other crises. Being part of a community that shares the values of child safety, respect for children's rights, meaningful participation, and equal opportunities for development is therefore especially important.
«Becoming a member of Eurochild is not only a recognition of our team's long-standing work, but also an opportunity to strengthen the voice of Ukrainian children at the international level. Today, Ukrainian childhood is facing unprecedented challenges due to the war, and it is crucial that the experiences of our children are heard in European discussions on children's rights and protection. We look forward to learning from our European partners, sharing our own expertise, and working together to create safe and supportive environments where every child can thrive», said Marta Pukshyn Head of the «UEP-East» Representative Office
The Ukrainian Education Platform believes that Ukraine is already part of the European community of values. Every Ukrainian child deserves to grow up in a society where their rights are respected, their voice is heard, and their well-being is a priority.
We are grateful to the Eurochild community for their trust and for welcoming us into the network. We believe this partnership will contribute to strengthening child protection systems in Ukraine and creating better opportunities for children and families across the country.
